Our beginner reeds are perfect for those who are just beginning to learn to play the oboe. These reeds are profiled and then hand finished by a professional with an American style scrape. Our beginner reeds have the tip of the tip specifically thinned in order to ensure the easiest response possible while still remaining in tune. These reeds will give new oboe players the opportunity to develop good embouchure habits and learn proper airflow techniques.
